Mokhuhanga – Japanese Woodblock Printmaking Workshop for Beginners.

Mokuhanga (Japanese woodblock print) is a beautiful, ancient printmaking technique dating back to the 8^th Century.
This one-day workshop is suitable for complete beginners or those with some previous experience and includes practical sharpening, carving and printing demonstrations. Students will learn how to carve a design from birch plywood blocks and print onto Japanese papers..
